Can’t Access Facebook From Work: Proxy Solution + Facebook Proxy list

anna_150.jpg

You can not access the Facebook website from your work because it is blocked !

You want to unlock Facebook to have access to it from work, school, a public library or through any firewall protected place !

You came on the right place because you will be able again to surf on your favorite “Facebook” website before the end of this article.

Here is to solution to access to your blocked Facebook and you don’t even need to install anything. The solution is a proxy or in this case a Facebook proxy.

Following is a facebook proxy list (which are working right now) :

Proxy1 (without any publicity banner - do not contain the word “facebook” in the URL) - Still working on the 26/07/2009

Proxy2 (without any publicity banner - contain the word “facebook” in the URL) - Still working on the 26/07/2009

Proxy3 (with publicity bannerbut without the word “facebook” anywhere in the URL or on the page) - Still working on the 26/07/2009

Proxy4 (with publicity banner) - Still working on the 26/07/2009

Proxy5 (with publicity banner) - Still working on the 26/04/2009 - Not working anymore

Proxy6 (with publicity banner - contain the word “facebook” in the URL) - Still working on the 26/07/2009

For the one who do not know how it works, it is really simple. You just need to click on of the links above and you will fall in the facebook website (unless website names are also filtered in which case you wouldn’t be able to see this article from work :-)).

Be aware that it may take one minute or so to get to your facebook login page the first time. So be patient and don’t click on anything.

    Dear Anna,
Are you able to access this website from work? If not, the Proxies 4 and 5 should work (unless you work for a very big and/or a very secure company).

By the way we access the internet via Dii (defence information infrastructure)

  7. Comment by admin on June 3, 2008 2:30 pm

    :-)
It seems that, with DII, you will have some difficulties to connect to facebook! :-)

You may eventually try to turn your home computer into en intermediate server or at least let you connect remotely to it via the port 80 with, for instance, remote desktop (rdesktop or something like that).

May be like that you will bypass the “static” proxy database from DII.
But DII seems to be more complex than that and I think you won’t bypass it.

Anyway, if you need more details to create an intermediate server, just let us know.

    Edwardo,
    You need help:
to creat an intermediate server or
    to implement a tunnel
    or even something else?

Proxy’s don’t always work. A superior method is to create an encrypted tunnel to send your HTTP request through. Here are instructions for how to do it http://www.blakebrannon.com/2008/09/03/howto-facebook-at-work/

    none of the proxies work.

  16. Comment by admin on April 28, 2009 2:23 pm

    Bronzi,
Ask Blake Brannon who gives you a solution.

    Hebz,
    Did you wait long enough?

    Josh,
After verification, at least four of them should have worked. A solution for you might be to create a tunnel.

not all facebook features are not works with theses proxies.(Chat,Notification,Photo upload) pls help me

Indeed, facebook did change something recently.

If you browse to http://www.facebook.com/home.php?_fb_noscript=1 instead of just http://www.facebook.com, it should already solve some issues.

Proxy3 already propose it to you by default.

Hi buddy, none of the proxies work for me :(
fb is totally blocked in china, i’ve searched the web to find a working proxy, finally i found one at Baidu Tieba, http://freeonlineproxy.info. hope it helps.

  20. Comment by admin on July 28, 2009 10:36 am

    Hi Mike,
I verified the proxies two days ago and most of them (except for proxy5) still seems to work fine for me and for a lot of people.

And about fb being blocked in China, that’s a news and it must be really recent!
